Recently, WikiFX got a Filipino investors complaint against Tradeview247fore, a broker that enticed his investment by promising “Instant Profits” but later caused him heavy losses in blocking withdrawals.
Event Recap
The victim got acquainted with the broker‘s client manager named Humberto Francois on Facebook. This guy recommended him to invest at Tradeview247forex and promised there would be returns after 7 days. On April 10th, 2020, the investor deposited 50,000 php through Coin.ph to the broker’s BTC wallet.
On April 17th, 2020, the 7th day after the complainants initial deposit, he was supposed to withdraw the profits of US$7,698 in his account. However, the client manager Humberto asked him to pay a 20% commission before he could withdraw. The 80,988 php commission was paid to the same BTC wallet where investor sent his deposits. But minutes later investor was informed by Tradeview247forex that his account must be “upgraded” by paying a minimum “upgrading fee” of US$2,000 before he could successfully withdraw. The investor was getting skeptical, as the broker never mentioned this earlier on.
When the investor tried to check feedback about the broker on Humberto Francoiss Facebook page, only to find that those comments were mostly from fake accounts, while the real ones were victims that shared a similar experience.
