Italy's CONSOB has ordered the blocking of four investment websites that were operating illegally. The websites were found to be offering investment services without the necessary authorization from the Italian authorities. CONSOB has warned investors to be cautious of such websites and to only invest through authorized channels.
The four websites that have been blocked are:
• “Activ4X” (website https://www.activ4x.com and related pages https://client.activ4x.com and https://trade.activ4x.com);
• “VirtuFinance” (website www.virtufinancial.eu and related page https://webtrader.virtufinancial.eu);
• “VirtuFinance” (website www.virtufinancial.eu and related page https://webtrader.virtufinancial.eu);
• “Goldy Deal” (website www.goldydeal.com).
Investors are advised to only invest through authorized channels and to be cautious of investment opportunities that seem too good to be true. CONSOB has also urged investors to report any suspicious investment schemes to the authorities. The blocking of these websites is a reminder to investors to be vigilant and to only invest through authorized channels.
