One of the largest financial regulatory body in the world Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) appointed Sophie Hutcherson, a former employee of Deutsche and Wells Fargo Bank on FCA board. Hutcherson brings a wealth of experience to the board, having worked in the financial industry for many years. Sophie Hutcherson has 30 years experience in financial services having worked as senior advisor to the CEO at Wells Fargo and held various senior positions at Deutsche Bank UK, including serving as Chief Operating Officer – UK, Ireland & Channel Islands for Deutsche Bank from 2016-2018.
Hutcherson's appointment to the FCA board is a significant one as she is widely respected within the financial industry. Her experience working for two of the world's largest banks will undoubtedly be invaluable to the FCA, as it seeks to strengthen its regulatory oversight.
