Be Alert to Romance Scams

WikiFX Strategies (22 Mar.) - Romance scams occur when the scammer uses the illusion of a romantic relationship to defraud. Victims end up not only in debt but also losing confidence in their lives. WikiFX here exposes two illegal platforms committing such scams.

AF Index

AF Index uses fake online photos to endear itself to the victims on Ingram. The victim induced to open the account and make deposits will later find it impossible to withdraw their fund. The platform just serves up the excuse of “frequent withdrawals, please pay a margin 50% of the balance”.

AF Index scored 1.73 on WikiFX and its Common Financial Service License of National Futures Association is currently under the status of unauthorized,

Spring

An investor exposed that he met a girl on Facebook who pretended to be kind enough to show him how to speculate forex. Later he made deposits on Spring, which refused his withdrawal requests on the grounds of “insufficient transactions”.

Spring only got a rating of 1.05, without any valid regulation. Its genealogy shows that except for six white-labeled platforms, all other relevant ones are scams.

Scammers' tricks:

1. Spot victims by feigning romantic intentions

2. Pretend to be a single rich to lure you in

3. Make some efforts to gain your trust

4. Talk with well-designed words

5. Tempt you into deposits by “high returns”
