Abstract:The criminal investigation does not involve the use of defeat devices, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The US government is investigating Ford's emissions certifications process, the automaker said Friday. The criminal investigation by the Department of Justice does not involve so-called defeat devices, Ford said. Ford said on Friday the U.S. Department of Justice had opened a criminal investigation into the automaker's emissions certification process in the United States.The potential concern does not involve the use of defeat devices, the company said in a regulatory filing.
