Inspection Reason
The inspection team continued its field survey campaign as part of the efforts to inspect the compliance and integrity conditions within the forex brokerage industry. Through on-site inspection to their registered addresses or those provided on their websites, The inspection team aims to find out those bogus players which usually would give themselves away under these checks. For this session, The inspection team went to Australia to visit a broker named RBCC.
Office
According to the address shown in its regulation details, RBCC’s office is at U61 03 / Level 61, 19-29 Martin Place, SYDNEY. The survey staff went there for a field investigation.
According to the address, the survey team found this old looking office building.
Featured Photos
The surveyors arrived at the entrance of the office building. According to a floor guide sign outside the building, the first 7 floors belong to a shopping center, while the eighth floor and above are used for offices. The surveyors then took an elevator to level 61, where they found a directory sign showing companies on that floor, but did not find RBCC’s name on it. To double check, the surveyors still went to Suite 3 as was indicated by address, but instead of finding their target, found another company named Market Eye there.
Conclusion
A field survey to the address where RBCC claims to be located did not turn out its presence. The broker claims to hold a investment advisory license (No. 327505) from the Australia ASIC.
