Inspection Reason
Many investors made telephone calls recently asking for more exposure of Australia licensed brokers whose real addresses were different from their regulation addresses. According to investors’ feedback, the surveyor decided to go to AXIS’s office in Australia to have an intutitive view..
Office Building
According to the regulation information, the Australia licensed broker was located at Level 12, 17 CasTlereaGh STreeT, SYDNEY NSW 2000. The surveyor decided to visit the broker.
Featured Photos
According to a map, the surveyor drove to the ordinary but modern office building indicated by the regulation address and then took the elevator to the 12th floor.
The surveyor found nothing about the broker on the directory at the aisle after reading it carefully. Then, the surveyor went downstairs to ask the safe guard whether AXIS had an office here or not. The safe guard said he knew notthing about it.
Conclusion
It was confirmed after the surveyor’s inspection that the real address of AXIS in Australia was different from its regulation address. The broker’s pupported invesment and advisory license (RN: 365948) issued by ASIC was suspected to be a cloned license. Since the broker was under no valid regulation at present, please pay attention to invesment risk.
