Abstract:The Leicester Tigers rugby team has secured a fresh sponsorship deal with financial brokerage firm Tradeview Markets, marking a historic moment as the club's inaugural front-of-shirt sponsor.
The Leicester Tigers rugby team has secured a fresh sponsorship deal with financial brokerage firm Tradeview Markets, marking a historic moment as the club's inaugural front-of-shirt sponsor. This partnership solidifies ties between Tradeview Markets and one of England's most illustrious rugby clubs. The collaboration was officially unveiled at the Finance Magnates event held in London, a momentous occasion acknowledging this significant alliance.
Although the agreement was initially disclosed in late August, its formal launch occurred at the recent Finance Magnates London Summit (FMLS). Timothy Furey, CEO of Tradeview Markets, alongside COO Ben Sadgrove and Head of Global Equities Mike Lombardo, graced the summit. It was here that they engaged with Leicester Tigers' management and players, fostering the foundation of this burgeoning partnership.
Furey stated that the sponsorship aligns with Tradeview Markets' global strategy of collaborating with organizations that hold similar core values such as teamwork, commitment to excellence, and integrity.
In conjunction with their visit to London, Tradeview Markets executives embarked on a tour of the Leicester Tigers stadium, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of a live match from the stands. Simultaneously, as per the new collaboration, Leicester Tigers' rugby players made notable appearances at the Tradeview Markets booth during the FMLS event, graciously interacting with attendees and capturing moments in photographs.
Oliwier Taraszkiewicz, Relationship Manager of Tradeview Europe, expressed excitement in announcing Tradeview Markets' participation as the inaugural front-of-shirt partner for the club's women's program.
While the financial details remain undisclosed, the sponsorship agreement seeks to amplify Tradeview Markets' brand recognition while extending support to both women's and men's rugby initiatives.
In a parallel vein, the FX/CFD brokerage previously appointed Amgad Attia as the director for the MENA region.
Notably, although football (soccer) traditionally dominates FX/CFD brokers' strategies for enhancing brand visibility, rugby is steadily gaining prominence, particularly in regions like the UK, New Zealand, France, Wales, and Ireland, where it enjoys immense popularity.
For instance, eToro inked a three-year deal with Rugby Australia, the nation's professional league, last November. This aligns with eToro's similar collaborations with rugby leagues in England and France. Prior to this, IC Markets unveiled its collaboration with the Rugby World Cup Sevens.
CFD brokers strategically opt to leverage rugby sponsorships owing to several pivotal factors. Rugby boasts an intensely loyal and dedicated fanbase, offering exceptional brand exposure opportunities. By associating with top rugby teams and events, CFD brokers can showcase their names and logos to millions of ardent fans, fostering trust and fostering brand recognition.
