On August 27, Amazons share price climbed to $3,441 per share which take total market cap around $1.72 trillion. The stock has already rallied over 80 percent since the beginning of 2020, adding that Bezos holds a 14.77 percent stake in Amazon.
Bezos is around $88 billion richer than Bill Gates, who is the world's second-richest person, currently worth $116.2 billion, according to Forbes data.
Jeff Bezos' net worth of $204.6 billion is higher than the market cap of 56 companies in the list of world top 100 companies, which includes brand like PepsiCo, L'Oreal, Nike, and Mcdonald's.
