On-spot investigation:
Regulatory information shows that the UK office of ThinkMarkets is located at 30 City Road 4th Floor London EC1Y 2AY UNITED KINGDOM.
We drove to City Road in downtown London, and easily found ThinkMarkets' office according to the regulatory information. After briefly explaining our intention to the staff, we were allowed to enter the office for a detailed look. The employees were having a meeting, and we took some snapshots of the company logo and working environment. There were about 30 cubicles in its office. We conclude that the office of ThinkMarkets in Britain truly exists.
About ThinkMarkets
ThinkMarkets was founded in 2010 with headquarters in both Melbourne, Australia and London, England, as well as offices in Asia Pacific, Europe, South America, Middle East and North Africa. The company provides customers with financial products services including forex, stocks, commodities and futures. In order to improve the safety of funds, its client funds are independently deposited in trust accounts of banks such as Barclays Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. The broker holds forex brokerage license granted by FCA and other regulatory agencies.
Conclusion
According to WikiFX App, ThinkMarkets is currently in valid regulation, holding STP license from FCA and MM license issued by ASIC. With a 7.29 rating on the WikiFX App, the broker has acceptable credibility. But as it has received several complaints in the past three months, investors still need to beware of the risks of the broker.
