Abstract:On November 23th, Halifax suddenly announced that all investors’ account was suspended and the deposit and withdrawal was unavailable.
Recently, FXEYE learned that with all accounts of investors frozen and withdrawal unavailable, there was something wrong with Halifaxs headquarters in Australia.
An investor shared experience with FXEYE
Through the investors experience, the official customer service stated that Halifax illegally operated its business.
According to the information, Halifax sent the email officially on November 23th to state that with withdrawal unavailable all investors accounts had been switched to “Close Only” mode, and that only closing out position could be available.

The investor contacted the customer service staff, who replied that Halifax was being investigated by regulator due to illegal operation. The staff went on to say that in order to protect investors interests, Halifax froze their accounts, and the result of investigation depended on the reply of the regulator.

According to the notice, Halifax was under the charge of administrator appointed, and with withdrawal unavailable all investors accounts had been switched to “Close Only” mode.

According to Halifaxs Australian regulatory information, the broker has entered the process of bankruptcy.

The selection of deposit and withdrawal has been removed from “Capital Management” of the investors account.

With licenses such as ASIC‘s MM, FMA’s STP, and NFAs general financial license, Halifax was registered in Australia. Many people were sorry for the notice that Halifax suddenly entered the bankrupt process.
Now the broker has been marked as “Suspended” by FXEYE. As for the financial problem investors care most, FXEYE will pay close attention to it continuously by follow-up report.
