BRÜSSEL (dpa-AFX) - Der Anteil batteriebetriebener Fahrzeuge in der Europäischen Union ist im dritten Quartal erneut angestiegen. Zwischen Juli und September machten diese rund zwölf Prozent aller neu zugelassenen Pkw aus, wie der Branchenverband Acea am Donnerstag in Brüssel mitteilte. Das sind rund zwei Prozentpunkte mehr als im Vergleichszeitraum. Auch Plug-in-Hybride legten leicht zu.
Den Löwenanteil machen allerdings weiter Fahrzeuge aus, die mit Diesel und Benzin betrieben werden. Gemeinsam kommen sie auf einen Marktanteil von rund 54 Prozent. Allerdings nahm ihr Anteil ab: Mittlerweile machen Benziner nur noch 37,8 Prozent aller neu zugelassenen Fahrzeuge aus. Dieselantriebe schrumpften gegenüber dem Vorjahreszeitraum auf nun 16,5 Prozent Marktanteil.
