Star-Investor Mike Burry warnt vor einem Aktien-Crash. Er verkaufte fast sein ganzes US-Aktienportfolio, wie das „Handelsblatt berichtet.
An sechs Aktien hielt er jedoch fest – sie sind meist unterbewertet und krisensicher. Dazu gehören unter anderem zwei Firmen, die Gefängnisse betreiben und eine Pharma-Kette.

Der US-Amerikanische Star-Investor Mike Burry warnt vor einem Aktien-Crash. Wie das „Handelsblatt berichtet, hat er bereits fast sein komplettes US-Aktienportfolio aufgelöst. Aus 19 Aktien stieg er aus und behielt nur drei. Außerdem tätigte er drei weitere Investitionen. Dabei baut er dabei vor allem auf unterbewertete Aktien aus krisensicheren Branchen.
Burrys Hedgefonds „Scion Asset Management reicht vierteljährlich Unterlagen bei der US-Börsenaufsicht SEC ein. Diese zeigen genau, auf welche Aktien Burry jetzt setzt.
Burry setzt auf unterbewertete Aktien
Zwei der Aktien, die er behält, sind Corecivic und Geo Group, private Gefängnisbetreiber. Attraktiv sind diese Aktien für Burry, weil die Geschäftsmodelle der beiden Firmen unabhängig von politischen Entwicklungen sind. Beide Aktien zeigten in der Vergangenheit Verluste, scheinen sich jetzt jedoch zu erholen. Vor allem Corecivic gilt als Langfrist-Investment, berichtet das „Handelsblatt.
Burry baut außerdem auf die Aktie CVS Health. Die Pharma- und Drogeriekette erlebte während der Pandemie einen Aufschwung und stieg um fast 40 Prozent, so das „Handelsblatt. Interessant ist: im Vergleich zu Konkurrenten gilt die Aktie als unterbewertet. Zudem zahlt CVS Dividenden aus – zwei Dollar pro Aktie.

Lockheed Martin und Now sind ebenfalls Aktien, in die Burry investiert. Lockheed Martin ist ein Rüstungs- und Technologieunternehmen und gilt ebenfalls als krisensicher. Dem „Handelsblatt zufolge kaufte Burry im dritten Quartal Lockheed Martin Aktien im Wert von zehn Millionen Euro.
Now ist ein Vertriebsunternehmen für den Energie- und Industriesektor. Die Aktie zeigte sich in den letzten Monaten bereits erfolgreich für Burry und stieg um fast 30 Prozent. Eine spekulative Investition tätigte Burry mit dem Aktienkauf von Scynexis, einem Biotech-Unternehmen, das Therapien zur Behandlung von Arzneimittel-resistenten Infektionen entwickelt. Das Unternehmen ist im Moment alles andere als profitabel, und die Aktie ist auch nicht unterbewertet. Doch sollte sich dies in den nächsten Jahren ändern, so sehen Analysten, laut dem „Handelsblatt ein Kurspotential von 200 Prozent.
