Inspection Reason

Quite a few investors called  for more disclosure of HK licensed brokers whose real address were not the same with its licensed address. In response to investors’ strong appeal, the surveyors were about to visit Xinhua Securities.

Office

According to the regulatory information, the HK licensed broker Xinhua Securities was located at KP Tower ,93 Kings Road ,North Point ,HK. The surveyors visited the broker.

According to the regulatory information and GPS, the surveyors found KP Tower not far away from Fortress Hill. The well-designed orange building numbers and white building name looked quite conspicuous on the grey wall. So the surveyors found the office building easily.

The surveyors entered the building and looked out of the window downstairs and find lots of ordinary residential houses centralized opposite KP Tower. The surveyors looked carefully at the floor directory downstairs and didn’t find Xinhua Securities.

The surveyors then took the elevator to the 19th floor and found the building was empty. The surveyors speculated that the broker’s office has been moved.

Conclusion

The visit by surveyors confirmed that the real address of the HK licensed broker Xinhua Securities was not the same with its licensed address. The broker held a futures trade license issued by SFC but its suspicion of operating beyond the licensed business scope couldn’t be excluded.Discretion is advised with regard to investment.
