Inspection Reason

Recently, many investors made telephone calls to the inspection team, expressing their hope for the inspection team to expose more Australia licensed brokers whose regulation addresses were fake. In response to those investors’ feedback, the inspection team decided to pay a visit to the Australia licensed broker Unicorn Finance to know what happened.

Office Building

According to the regulation information, the Australia licensed broker Unicorn Finance was located at Level 40 One International Towers Tower 1', 100 Barangaroo Avenue, Barangaroo NSW 2000. The inspection team decided to go to the site.

The building in which the broker’s office located according to the regulation information is quite strikingly positioned, so the inspection team easily found the landmark standing near the Darling Harbour. It is learned that this building is also the home to many world famous financial institutions.

The inspection team didn’t find any information about the broker on the floor guide in the lobby of the first floor. In order to know for sure whether the broker’s office is located at the floor as indicated by the regulation information, the inspection team went to Level 40 by elevator. Still, the inspection team didn’t find any information about the broker at the floor guide. At last, the inspection team walked through the whole floor to do a thorough inspection, unfortunately, the broker’s office was not found.

Conclusion

It is confirmed after the inspection team’s on-site inspection that the real address of Unicorn Finance’s office in Australia is inconsistent with the regulation address. The broker’s authorized representative’s license (No.: 001252740) issued by ASIC has been canceled.
