Survey Reason

The inspection team received many investors’ phone calls with the hope of more New Zealand licensed brokers whose real addresses were not consistent with those declared by the supervision agency exposed. Upon their requests, the investigation staff decided to pay an on-the-site visit to them in New Zealand.

Company Building

According to the regulatory information, the address of the New Zealand licensed company Vistafolio was: Level 8, 3 AlberT STreeT Auckland. The investigation staff visited the spot.

Exclusive

The investigation staff found the office building as the regulatory information showed without any obstacle. They entered the lobby from one of the two entrances which was closer to the office area, and learned from the floor guidance that the 8th floor was where the office of another company situated.

Subsequently, they came to the 8th floor by elevator, and noticed that there was a large logo in the corridor. To ensure the accuracy of the result of the on-the-site investigation, they enquired the front desk that whether Vistafolio owned an office in the floor, and the answer they got was that Vistafolio was never heard about. Besides, there were all joint offices in the floor.

Summary

It has been proved by the on-the-site investigation of the staff that the actual address of the New Zealand licensed broker Vistafolio is not consistent with that declared by the supervision agency. Its FSP license (No. 596789) issued by FSPR is suspicious of cloning.
