The investigation team paid a visit to foreign exchange broker capital.com (Fintech solutions, LLC) in Minsk, capital and the largest city of Belarus as scheduled. The broker claims that they have a physical office at office 823, 36/1, Internacionalnaya str., Minsk, 220003.

The field survey personnel came to the destination on February 1, 2023.

Situated in the downtown area of Minsk, the mansion to be visited by the team stands out evidently among the cluster of buildings nearby, with its facades designed with pure glass, which demonstrates a completely modern style. But it is extremely hard for visitors to park in the small parking lot of the building.

The investigation team was allowed to enter the mansion after showing the purpose of visit to the safeguard due to a strict visiting regulation, and then arrived at the destination on the 8th floor, where there was no office information of broker capital.com according to office 823 listed on the company directory.

After communicating with a security staff, the investigation team was told that the broker indeed had a physical business office here, which had been rented for 6 years. But the office was located on the same floor with Coca Cola instead of office 823. 

Then the survey personnel reached the 6th floor of the building, but were not allowed to enter the office of capital.com (Fintech solutions, LLC) to take photos. And the manager of the broker said that most of their employees were working remotely, without showing their brokerage license. But it was estimated that there were at least 5 independent working rooms as well as a reception room. Besides, the investigation team got to know that there were only two employees in the office of capital.com, according to the security guard.

Conclusion

The investigators went to Minsk, capital of Belarus to visit the foreign exchange broker capital.com as planned. Although the office address that the broker claims is not exactly the same with the one the survey team visited, they indeed have a physical office here. Unfortunately, the survey personnel were not able to enter the office for an internal visit, so the specific scale of its business is unknown. Investors are advised to make a sensible choice based on a comprehensive consideration.
