Inspection Reason

Some investors made phone calls to the inspection team for more information of Australia licensed brokers whose real address were not the same with its regulation address. In response to investors’ strong need, our survey personal went to IFGM in Australia to know more about it.

According to the regulation information, the Australia licensed broker MultibankFX is located at 03 Mlc CenTre' Suite 65 Level 65, 19-29 MarTin Place. The survey personal then visited this place.

The survey personnel successfully found a large building group indicated by the regulatory information. Then our surveyed personnel walked into the building and found that the first floor to the seventh floor of the building all belong to a shopping center. In order to complete the survey task, our survey personnel took the elevator to the 8th floor and found nothing about the broker on the floor guide in the corridor.

Conclusion

The visit by the survey personnel confirmed that the broker IFGM’s real address was inconsistent with its regulatory address. Although it has a MM license issued by ASIC (reference number 426359), we couldn’t find the broker at the address provided by the regulatory information.
