Reason for this visit

In terms of daily trading volume, the foreign exchange market qualifies as the largest market in the world. Due to its relatively developed financial system and friendly business environment, the UAE continues to attract foreign investors to enter the market. In order to help investors and practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of the country’s foreign exchange dealers, the survey team is going to the UAE for site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team went to Dubai, UAE to visit Redimax, a foreign exchange dealer. The survey address is Unit S314, Emirates financialtower, DIFC, PO Box 191905, Dubai, UAE.

The team came to Dubai International Financial Center, which was a professional office block with many tall buildings and convenient transportation. They could see two buildings from a long distance, and found EMiraTes Financial Tower.

The team failed to enter the building. They did not find the logo or other information of Redimax around it. The security guard told them that the dealer did not exist.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Dubai, UAE, to visit the the dealer Redimax. But they found no logo or office at the publicly displayed business address, which means the given business address might be fake. Investors are advised to choose this dealer carefully.
